Attendance & Child Absence Policy

Attendance

  • Attendance is recorded every day.
  • Children should arrive on time and attend the nursery regularly.

Fees During Absence

A child’s absence does not automatically qualify for a fee reduction, waiver, or refund. Nursery fees remain payable in accordance with the nursery’s Fee Policy.

Diaper Change Policy

Head Lice Policy

Refund Policy

At Little Wonders Nursery, all refunds are processed in accordance with the KHDA Registration and Refund Policy for Early Childhood Centres (effective March 2026).

Registration Deposit

  • A registration deposit is required to confirm a child’s enrolment.
  • The registration deposit will be adjusted against the child’s programme fees once the child starts attending the nursery.
  • Refunds of registration deposits will be processed according to KHDA regulations and the terms outlined in the Parent–Nursery Contract.

Withdrawal and Refunds

Parents who wish to withdraw their child must submit a written withdrawal request to the nursery. Refunds will be calculated based on the child’s official withdrawal date and in accordance with KHDA guidelines.

Fee Deductions

For structured programmes, the following deductions may apply:

  • Withdrawal within the first two weeks: One month’s fees may be deducted.
  • Withdrawal after two weeks but within one month: Two months’ fees may be deducted.
  • Withdrawal after one month: The full term’s fees may be retained.

Outstanding Fees

Any outstanding fees or charges must be settled before a refund can be processed.

Processing of Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed after all financial obligations have been reviewed and completed.
